My name is Darrell McAllister and I am a 23 year old love of genealogy. I
have just read most of the bio posts, I was blessed with my first child just
after midnight on the 30th and had not spent much time on in the last few
days. I am a SGT in the Army and my 24 year old wife is a RN---sure are alot
of those great people in here!!! We live on Ft Benning in Columbus Ga and are
both from Ms. She was bron and raised there and I moved there in 88 from
Seattle--where I was born. I have been doing my tree for about 15 years now,
my father used to take me with him when he used to search our family. I did
it with him til my parents divorced in 88 and then I went to it on my own.
When I got married, I was given a family Bible and didnt have any info for my
wife to put in it really. So now I am all over her side of the family, and
going back farther with mine, I have had any huge breakthroughs but I have
found 3 cousins and possibly a gg aunt, we are trying to figure that one out.
I have learned alot on this list and love to read most of the posts. But I
must go now and help with my son, boy I love to say that!!!
