Hi:

I have in the last two or three weeks since I've been subscribing,
noticed at least two postees that are researching Mc or MacFarlane and
have e-mailed them personally but have received no response from them.
What do I do now? I think I've long since erased their addresses. I'm
wondering why I didn't receive a response. If someone posts a name,
don't they want to hear from anyone else researching that name too?
I've had better luck with responses I've posted at other sites. I
realize people are busy but... Should I just assume that there is no
connection or that they didn't read my e-mail? I keep scanning my
condensed Gen-Newbie digest every day looking for the surname
MacFarlane. Should I be joining another list? I also check out any
sites someone mentions that could be relevant to me (free ones) but I
haven't found out one blessed thing.
