Hi all!
My name is Gayle and I live in Little Rock, Arkansas.Iv'e been lurking for a week and have found a lot of resource information. I am new to the geneology search and have really enjoyed finding out that I'm not the only one hitting brick walls.

The families I am searching for are as follows:
DRAKE - Mary Elizabeth DRAKE married ? CONNER either in Arkansas or Mississippi. It is believed that she was either full blood or 3/4 blood Choctaw Indian. (perhaps Cherokee, stories vary) Their children included Mary Bell, Claude and a host of others. Mary Bell CONNER was my grandmother. Mary Bell married Robert WIGGS. He went by Bob. They lived somewhere in Mississippi for a while but settled in Woodruff County Arkansas. Bob died in or about 1924 leaving behind children; Qualie, Ollie May, Minnie, Franklin, Woodrow, and Robert. Mary or Bob did not have Social Security cards and it seems as if all my family stayed in Woodruff County Arkansas. They have not started the census reports for this county yet, so if anyone knows anything it would be most appreciated.
