While it's true that the light from a scanner can be harmful to old papers,
I wonder if scanning it just once might actually be better for the paper
than handling it and exposing it to the air everytime you wanted to show it
to someone. Besides, if it's scanned, you have the ability to make unlimited
copies without ever having to touch the original. I'm not an expert, this is
just my thoughts, for what they're worth!
