Don't forget -- all the ship passenger lists from 1820 to the mid-20th
century, and indexes.

The National Arhives actually has two facilties in the Washington, D.C.,
area (the second is in College Park, MD). The main facility, on
Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, has most of the materal of genealogical
interest.
