And when you get an answer please share it. I can't print from OE either and
going to HP forum I get no help and when I call HP--no help and they tell me
to call Microsoft who won't help because mine came bundled with my system
(will help for $35 per incident) and Compaq techs are a bunch of idiots
anyway and it would also cost. At the forum others have the same problem. I
even updated the driver like they suggested. I have uninstalled the printer
and reinstalled 4 times. I have done everything I know to do and NOTHING. I
have Compaq 2286 with HP Deskjet 697c and Windows 98 running IE 5 but OE4.
Any help would be wonderful. Tired of cutting and pasting to Word 97.
