That's a good question. I can set Outlook (and remember that Netscape
allowed the setting as well) for either end reply or top reply. I too
prefer to find a reply to a question at the top of the message. That
way, if I remember the question, I don't need to go any further, but if
I don't remember, the original post is there for me to check.

Users should also remember to copy/paste/post rather than use the mail
forwarding method since the headers are usually opened in a forward and
must be waded through (I usually won't do that and suspect I am not
alone).

The cleaning program that removes all those >>>>>>>>>>>> in forwarded
material works very well if someone would post the URL again for
subscribers.
