I'd like opinions, please. What do you do when you don't know a woman's
maiden name? I'm transcribing some notes from a family member, and there
are a lot of entries like, "John Smith married Jane. They had 2
children--Jim and Sally." I'm trying to figure out the best way to enter the
info into my genealogy program. I'm thinking of using the husband's name
with a question mark (i.e. Jane Smith?). What do you do?
