I think most people do. But I think the problem is that many people
(especially "newbies") may not realize that they have the option. I know I
had to point this out to my nephew when he first started using his computer
and was sending my entire message back AHEAD of his response. The problem was
that his system, after he checked a box that said to include the message with
his reply, would place the cursor at the end (AOL places it there also). So
that is where he thought he had to type his response. In fact, the copied
text began on the very first line so there didn't appear to be room at the
top to enter a response anyway. He didn't realize he could move the cursor to
the front of the first character and move the entire text down to make room.
