The "Properties" of your email says:
X-Priority: 3
X-MSMail-Priority: Normal
X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.50.4522.1200
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4522.1200
So, you're using OE 5.5.
(To see properties of anyone's email in OE, you just right click on the message in the message
list, select properties, click on DETAILS tab, read through the stuff. It should be about 3/4
of the way through the header.)

I did what Sally advised below. It said Microfsoft Outlook Express 5 and
just below that in small numbers was 5.50.4522.1200 Does this mean I do or
DON'T have 5.5?

Go to Help, then About Microsoft Outlook Express. It shows the version
number.

Elaine,
How do you know if you have IE 5 or 5.5? Also, where do you go to update
if
you do not have 5.5?
Thank you,
Sandi
