Whew! My nephew, who lives in Seattle, reported in last night, and
all is well. Same with his in-laws, who live on Vashon Island.

Right now I'm glad my daughter is no longer going on "storm duty"
to every earthquake and hurricane that happens. Twice to
Northridge for a month each time, and once to San Francisco. Each
time they got there the day after and were crawling through the
buildings, and there were always aftershocks. She was a claims
adjuster for an insurance company,
