Whenever I try to scan disk or disk defrag, I get a message cannot scan/defrag because c/d/e (whichever drive I am trying to scan or defrag) is locked by a utility. I don't know what that means. It says unlock drive and start scan or defrag again, I don't know how to unlock. Anyone have any ideas.

My system is:
HP Pavilion
Pentium III
Windows 98 SE

I also have Norton 2000 and I can run some tests thru there but would like to do so from system tools. I was wondering if Norton is locking the drive, and if so how do I unlock? I am not sure what other program might be doing it so don't know what other program to tell you I have.
