I'm always a day late reading my email, but I remembered a Mitch Miller song,
which was probably very much cleaned up from it's original, from my youth. I
found the words on the internet
**Drunk last night, drunk the night before,
Going to get drunk tonight
Like I never got drunk before!
For when I'm drunk,
I'm as happy as can be;
For I am a member of the DUTCH FAMILY.
For the Dutch Family, is the best family,
Ever to come over from Old Germany.
There's the Amsterdam Dutch
And the Rotterdam Dutch
The Pottsdam Dutch,
And the other dern Dutch!
Singing Glorious! Glorious!
One Keg of the Beer for the four of us.
Glory be, that there are no more of us,
That one of us can drink it all alone.
All alone (all alone). All alone (all alone).
None of us can drink it all alone.
Glory be that there are no more of us,
That one of us can drink it all alone.
Regards, Sue (in warm and lovely New Mexico)
