Hi Sandy:
Sounds like your family came from the Austro-Hungarian empire section known
as the Banat as did many of my own family. They are also listed as being
from Austria and Hungary and are always German. That's because that area of
Europe (includes Romania as well as parts of other countries) was settled by
Germans. There are many sources of research for the "Banat". If you want
some more info just let me know. Do you have any passenger list information
