I just heard on Fox News that Excite has pulled the plug on users
subscribed to @home through AT&T. Those subscribed through Cox and Comcast
are safe for now - they are still negotiating.

Iowa and Michigan @home users are now involved in the shut-down.

The movement appears to be from west to east. I assume those of us using
@home on the East Coast might be affected before the day is over.

Illinois, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Iowa and Michigan @home mail is now
bouncing as "disabled user" accounts. There may be other states involved,
these are the states currently impacting Gen-Newbie list subscribers.
