Mary,
You might have to download some programs like QuickTime from www.apple.com.
Even though I don't really like it the Free Real Player should come from
http://scopes.real.com/real/player/player.html?src=011011realhome_2,011011rp
choice_h2&dc=1221211130 (be sure to get the whole link or go to www.real.com
and be sure to download the free player (you have to look for it). Irfanview
(www.irfanview.com ) will play sounds too. I'm sure lots of other people
will have lots of suggestions. I have always found it fun to update all the
software on a computer so have fun!
