An interesting tid bit about some of my family during WWII
My Theis's were all masons. To keep from being drafted in the war, 3 of my
great uncles worked for a contractor building barracks. They traveled all
over building these barracks. The contractor that they worked for was John
Kelly.
John Kelly was the father of Princess Grace Kelly. One of my distant
relatives remembers her father mentioning that they knew Grace fairly well.
I would assume though that this was in her younger years before she became
an actress, but even still, I thought it was exciting, and I still want to
know more.
