The winter quarters were in Iowa, near the present day Mondamin. It's
now a State Park called Preparation. You can still see wagon ruts left
by the Mormon wagon train. One of my Ancestors was an original apostle
of the Mormon's. The ones that said no thank you to multiple wives are
what is known as the Reformed LDS.
