Hi Maxine,

Do you know about Google SafeSearch? Go to Google at http://www.google.com/
. Right beside the search box, click on "preferences." Scroll down the page
to "SafeSearch Filtering."
Check the box for strict filtering. That should keep the porn out. This is
what I let my 11 year old daughter use for searching. We haven't had a
problem yet.

From Google's website under SafeSearch:
"Many Google users prefer not to have adult sites included in their search
results. Google's SafeSearch screens for sites that contain pornography and
explicit sexual content and eliminates them from search results. While no
filter is 100% accurate, Google's filter uses advanced proprietary
technology that checks keywords and phrases, URLs and Open Directory
categories."
