Hi,

Here are a few websites for tracing your English and Welsh ancestors;

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com

FreeBMD is an ongoing project, the aim of which is to transcribe the Civil
Registration index of births, marriages and deaths for England and Wales.
If you are tracing English and Welsh ancestors born between 1837 and ~1910
you can use the online search facility to locate them. I should point out
that the index is not yet fully transcribed but it is well worth your while
having a look

http://www.census.pro.gov.uk/index.html

The official site of the Welsh and English census information for 1901

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/searc
h_census.asp

The 1881 census is online here provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints

Regards,

John.
