What Egil has done is write down sagas that has been oral traditions for
many hundreds of years, with noone writing down anything of it. Every
teller has the full freedom to tell what he wants, add what is fit and
withdraw other facts that does fit for that purpose on that occasion.

That's why it is just fiction. It's just telly tale, the truth in what
is said in Lord of Rings is just as equal truth.

But, it is jolly good stories.

PS. I don't mean that what Egil S. writes about people living in his
area at the same time is lies. Those are real stories, but when he
writes about Harold the Hairfair and his ancestors, that's just fiction.
Nothing else.
