-- I am trying to get some information on family on Norway.I am trying to
reach some one in the area of Ostre Toten who can be of assistance. I
believe my my grandfather,Hans Hanson,His wife Marie Hanson;Son Helge and
daughter Emma Matilda Hanson emigrated to the United States from Norway
in 1885. They lived in Ostre Toten Oppland County near Lena or Hurdelan
on the Frodal farm and may have left Norway from Stavanger.It would be
appreciated if you could provide some details about this emigration or
give me a site where thia information was available. Also do you know if
the Bygde Museum
toten Museum In Steinberg Oppland County has a web site or e mail
address?
