I overlooked that farm. The spelling (and perhaps pronounciation) has
changed from time to time: Rendal, Rindal, Ringdal. Today I think the
correct spelling is Renndal. The origin seems to be the same as for the
Rindal farm elsewhere. The valley has got its name from the river called
"Renna" or "Rinna".
