Thank you to everyone who replied the last time I posted about my ancestors
from Norway. I realized that I needed to get more information, and now I
have, thanks to some obituaries from the La Crosse, Wisconsin library
http://lplcat.lacrosse.lib.wi.us/genealogy/ ). They have a fantastic web
site that allows searches of obituaries as old as 1904.

Unfortunately, I once again have the names of towns that aren't on my modern
map of Norway. My great-granparents left Norway in 1880 and went to La
Crosse, Wisconsin. They are:

Jens Ole Lunke - born Feb 20, 1854 in Guldbransdalen, Norway
Rachel Paulson - born Sept 4, 1853 in Oier, Norway

I would greatly appreciate information on where these places are.
