Hi, folks - Thanks to all who took the time to reply to my "tongue-in-cheek"
rules note. The results, effective 8AM CST, were:

OLD RULES = 19

NEW RULES = 0

Flames at me = 3

Aw, It's-only-Genealogy = 1

I only have one comment before, hopefully, allowing this subject, and the
flames, to drop once and for all:

Two people wrote me to say they have never posted on this list, out of
fear of being flamed. I was horrified, and can only assume that those who
so easily criticize others, do not realize the sometimes harsh consequences
of their complaints, and so will now begin to extend to others the same
courtesy they would like to receive.

To those who have been afraid of posting, I say POST! If you get flamed,
REPOST THE SAME NOTE! The flamers are definitely in the minority, and do
not run this, or any other, list. There are lots & lots of very nice people
out here, who don't care if you "make a mistake," and who realize that it is
ludicrious to assume that all notes will be of interest to everyone.
Subject diveristy is healthy.
