Subject: Obituary/Death Certificate??

Does anyone how I can obtain an obituary for a man named Michael Kubik
who died on May 28, 1955 at Buffalo State Hospital? I recieved a letter
from the undertaker and have his death date. I would like to order a
Death Certificate but NYS law states his death must have occured more
than 50 years ago and it has not been that long. He is listed as my
grandfather, does this make any difference?
