I have several NYC marriage records so for those of you wondering what was
on those circa 1908 and later:

Name and profession of both parties, their ages, the pastor that married
them, the name of the church, sponsors names, also where the bride and groom
were born.

In early records for NJ I have just found the name of the parties, their age
and address and their father's first names. This might hold true for the
earlier NY records as well.
