Bob,

You could check the records of Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna
and Holy Cross Cemetery, also in Lackawanna. St Barbara's Church and Kirby
Ave are in the center of Lackawanna. That area was all part of West Seneca
at one time. Many Catholic parishes in the Buffalo area used Holy Cross
cemetery for burial. BTY, the cemetery was called Limestone Hill a hundred
years ago.

All of those records are available through any LDS Family History Center,
but look them up under Lackawanna. They aren't listed under Buffalo or Erie
County.

I grew up in that area more than 50 years ago and my whole family is buried
in Holy Cross. I also spent some time at Bethlehem Steel, but understand
there is little of the plant left. Most of it was torn down years ago. I
haven't lived there in many years so I don't lnow how much has changed.
