It doesnt say that because
1. Gwen didnt send the message you are replying. The message your are
replying to was sent by Carol Dickinson who is listed in the header you
forwarded.

Perhaps that is part of the problem. Is it possible people do not
understand how to read the headers? andthing sent with > before each
line is a previous post. When you hit the reply button > become >>
and the next reply becomes >. Should someone include all your post
when making a reply, the first >> becomes >>>. The first reply becomes

Your header will only show whoever sent whatever is marked with >.
Should that poster have erased the original e-mail address for whatever
reason, you will have no way of replying to the first or following
persons who wrote. Only the last person. I removed the address of the
original person, because I felt to leave it in would imply a flame to
tht person, when if fact it was only used as an example of a type.

Additionally, anyone who receives letters Digest style, will not be able
to reply to the orignal posting person unless they copy the e-mail
address from the body of the message and replace the Digest address.
It is simple to do (at least in Netscape) takes only a moment.

I am as guilty as anyone of occasionally forgetting to change the
e-mail address and pasting in the original subject. But my point was
that many of us dont seem to make the effort all that often.

I leave the post to which I am responding below, for reference both
to the fact that the posting person was listed in the header and to
view how the series of postings is marked with > >> etc,

Additionally I will post this to the list, because this comment has
made me realize maybe the problem is lack of information on how to do
this. Carol
