Doesn't this all sound incredible! BUT my husband can do it. We were
doing some work at our plant and needed to know where the water and gas
lines were. The gas company sent a dowser out and we giggled. He
worked with the clothes hanger making it into a 'handle' with two metal
pieces sticking off of it in opposite directions. He also wore gloves
as he said that sometimes it points down so quickly it can burn his
hand. Again we looked the other way and giggled. Then he started
walking over the property and started to point to the line. The doggone
thing pointed down just in certain areas. He could outline the pipe!
When it turned he turned with the point still going down. I saw it but
I still wasn't a believer! After he left my husband decided, when
nobody was looking, to play with the hanger. I won't tell you the name
but my husband was president of a huge international company, he was
known for his clear thinking. Well, you can guess the ending. It
worked. When he got home that night he played around with it some more,
and it worked. I can't do it and I still don't feel quite right about
it. We've had people at the house and played with the idea some more.
Some can but most can't. No explanation! Priscilla
