I think the person was offering to
look up COLONIAL WILLS that were published in the New-York Historical
Society Annuals [1890's] .. large green books found in various large
libraries. During the colonial period, wills from many counties, not jus
New York County, were filed at New York City.
About the only place you would find the 1892 NY State census is on LDS
microfilm .. UNLESS some local historical society has recently done a
published abstract.
Remember many of these censuses are lost. I do not know, off hand, about
Orleans, but odds are it is gone.
