In a message dated 98-08-03 16:36:45 EDT, you write:
<< Hi all, I'm looking for church records for Argyle, Washington, Co. Does
anyone know what churches were in existence around 1800 for this community? >>
Ginny,
in 1800, Argyle consisted of what is now Argyle (1788), Fort Edward (1818) and
Greenwich (1803).
Argyle- The first church (Asso. Ref. Presb.) was formed in 1793. The first
preacher was Rev. Geo. Mairs.
for a listing of churches there now go to;

Sorry I don't have the exact info you're looking for. I hope this helps.

(Looking for all the info I can get on the original settlers of Argyle)
