Hi All,
I am despartly seeking information on Homer WIGHTMAN. His father's
obituary, Sidney, on Dec. 24, 1915 says that he was superintendent of
school's for Altoona, PA. He was born 1862 in South New Berlin, Chenango
Co., NY. Being the only child that made it to adulthood. Sidney's obituary
states that Sidney had two grandchildren so they would had to have been
Homer's. The information I have says his wife's first name was Belle. I
also have a Wightman Ancestry Book that says he was a teacher filling
positions in Nyack and New York City area schools. This book came out about
1935. I am doing a WIGHTMAN genealogy and want to start running it off in
about 2 weeks so time is limited to get this information. Could anyone
please help. I am interested in any information you may have on this
family.
