The 1910 Polk's Directory of Manhattan and Bronx includes a
Street & Avenue Directory appendix which gives the house numbers
at all intersecting streets. With this description, Joy ought to be
able to match up the street with its current name.
The Wendover Road in Yonkers is in two short stretches which run
roughly parallel to and about 4 or 5 blocks from the Yonkers-Bronx
border.
