Thank you Nancy, for your helpful information. It does get frustrating when
listers just "throw" in surnames that are not relevant or
timely......especially, common names without any time or place references. I
guess it takes a couple of years of being into genealogy to realize what a
waste of time and energy this causes.
The biggest frustration is when someone contacts you with the same surname
and does not give any particulars. They expect someone to give them the
answers without taking the time to do so first. It's like "OK I'm looking
for this name, what do you have?" I have responded with all my information
and the person, seeing that there is no connection, doesn't even have the
courtesy to repond......very discouraging, to say the least.
