"I had an uncle that died about 10 years ago. His daughter, chose not to
have a burial, but donated his body to science. Nor did she want an
obit or memorial service for my uncle. I know his date of death, but
what proof can I get, since in NY one has to be dead for 50 years in
order to get a death certificate?
Thanks for any input on this one!

Dianne"

If your cousin won't give you a copy of his death certificate. Perhaps you
can request information from the hospital or college that his body was
donated to. It seems to me that, after all the experimentaion, the remains
would have had to be buried somewhere.
