Just a quick note to let everyone know that the monthly
meeting of the Irish Family History Forum will be this
Saturday, March 25 at the Plainview LDS, 160 Washington
Ave., Plainview, NY. The guest speaker this month is
Suzanne McVetty, CG. Ms. McVetty is a professional
genealogist and nationally known lecturer and author,
specializing in Irish, New York City, and Quaker research.
A past board member of the Association of Professional
Genealogists, she has won their Grahame Thomas Smallwood,
Jr. Award of Merit and Certificate of Appreciation. Ms.
McVetty is a charter member and past president of the
Genealogical Speakers Guild. She will lecture both the
"help session" at 11:30am (an added treat) as well as the
General Meeting at 1:00pm "To the Old Sod: Finding Our
Irish Ancestors."

Everyone is welcome. Admission is free to members, $3 for
non-members. Hope to see you all there!
