My gr-gr-grandfather's name was Henry Paxton, he was married to Mary Douglas & according to family records lived in or around Potsdam, NY in the 1800's. He had at least one child, my gr-grandfather George Benjamin (Barney) Paxton who was born October 17, 1856, in or around Potsdam, NY. I have hit the genealogical brick wall concerning this family line of ancestors. Can anyone help? Thank you is advance for any information you have have on this family line.
