Subject: Joseph Wolf? Broome Street?

Dear List,
From the ship manifest at Ellis Island, I learned that my ancestor,
Solomon Jass, planned to live with his brother-in-law, Joseph Wolf,
who lived on Broome St. NY city in 1899. This info is hand-written so
I am not certain of the street, but I would like to know if someone
who has access to the NY city directory could look to see ii there
was a "Joseph Wolf" living or working on "Broome St" or another
street that might be spelled similarly. Solomon was 16 when he
immigrated from Austria. His sister, Joseph's wife, paid his fare.
Later he was joined by a brother and a sister. I would like to know
if the Jass name appears on any city directories after 1899. Thank
you for your help. Also. I have recently subscribed to the
Ancestry.com 1910 Federal census data but I don't know what
enumeration district "Broome St" is in. Any help?
