Subject: In search of the Gillett/Gillette family bible

Hi List,
When I married my husband 11 years ago he knew little or nothing about his family. What he does remember is looking at the GILLETT/GILLETTE family bible. The family that I know about hailed from Susquehanna County, PA (Ralph Byron GILLETTE born in 1887) his father Lewis Martin GILLETT (1859-1940) may have hailed from the area also as he is buried in the Harford cemetery in Harford, PA. I find Ralph in Tioga county, NY (early 1900's) and then again in Chenango County New York( 1916 until his death in the 70's).Ralph married Anna Mae SMITH daughter of Charles and Elizabeth SMITH. Lewis married Nettie Evaline CARPENTER a descendent of one of the 9 partners of PA. My husband had 6 aunts and uncles and of course his dad all of which were dead before I met him so we have no idea who had or has the bible now. There is one aunt by marriage alive who has been very helpful but knows nothing about the bible.
Any leads would be so appreciated, the family tree just won't be the same without this and maybe it would also help me get off the Gillett wall I have been on for years.
