I recently found an article in the online NY Times, dated Oct 6, 2002 re: Gracie Mansion. I understand that the mansion is/was the official home of the Mayor of New York and what I found the most interesting was that it mentioned that Mr. Gracie sold the mansion to a Joseph Foulke sometime in the 1800's. My research is on the Foulke family of PA and NY and doing a Google search I did not find any info on this particular Joseph Foulke...anyone know anything about him and who his family were? It would be a great Christmas present if I could find ANY living descendants of my Foulk/Foulke family that would be interested in sharing/swapping information.
