I just came across a mention of a book which may or may not be helpful,
The Civil Sword: James Delancey’s Westchester Refugees, 1776–1785

It's the story of Westchesterites who fought for the King during the
Revolution.

I have not seen it and know nothing about it. It is available both in
book form and CD-ROM. Sorry if it's been mentioned here before.
