This may be of interest to some of you.

The eighth issue of Historic Pelham Herald (Vol. 1, Issue 8 - February
2004) is available.

Read about the discovery and unveiling of a piece of the revered Pell
Treaty Oak in the collections of The Manor Club. Learn about Pelham's
connection to one of the saddest chapters in the history of the Civil
Rights movement of the 1960s. Read about efforts by The Office of The
Historian of The Town of Pelham to document and digitize the contents of
"Memory Books" in the collections of The Manor Club that date back to
the 1880s. Get a 350th Anniversary Celebration update. Read about the
Library's 350th Anniversary monthly lecture series and exhibit program
and learn about the next two lectures and slide presentations scheduled
for February 15 ("Pelham and the Toonerville Trolley") and March 21 (a
slide presentation and book signing by Gray Williams, author of
"Picturing Our Past: National Register Sites in Westchester County).
Read about the first quarterly meeting of The Historic Pelham Roundtable
and the presentation to that group of a paper and slide program entitled
"Pelham and the Toonerville Trolley".

And, as always, learn about history events of interest to Pelham and
Westchester residents.
