Seeking to make contact with ancestors of Nevin Family of Rockland County.
There were several Nevin families, but this is the lineage:

My great grandparents:
Patrick NEVIN (farmer) (born about 1842) and Catherine LEHAN Nevin (born July 2,
1852). Both born in Ireland. Patrick died on December 1, 1910 and Catherine on
July 7, 1919. Both Patrick and Catherine are buried in Rockland Cemetery in
Catherine LEHAN Nevin's father was Patick LEHAN and her mother was Elizabeth

Their children were, my great uncle and aunts:

1. James NEVIN, born February 1885.

2. Margaret NEVIN Day (born April 14, 1878) - married to John DAY (born October
19, 1868) in Ireland and was a greenskeeper at a golf course in Rockland
County) - Son John P. DAY born about 1923. Margaret died feb. 3, 1953 at home
on Oak Tree Road, Tappan, at age 74. She is buried in Rockland Cemetery in
Sparkill. John DAY died on July 12, 1949 at age 81 while at Oak Tree Road,
Tappan. Buried Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill.

3. Mary Ellen (Mamie) NEVIN Cassidy (born about 1879) - married Michael CASSIDY
(born about 1874). Chilren on 1920 census are: Henry F., Aloysius, and
I believe that Mary Ellen NEVIN Cassidy and Michael Cassidy also may have had a
child who became the Reverand William Cassidy - a monsignor.

4. Catherine (Katie) NEVIN Davis (born about 1883) - married Archibald
DAVIS (born about 1880). Children on the 1910 census are James C., Pearl T.,
and Reginald.
On the 1920 census, other children named are: Elizabeth, Dolores, and Dorothy.
Catherine NEVIN Davis died on December 23, 1940 while living at 74 Elysian
Aveune, Nyack. She is buried in Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill.

5. Elizabeth NEVIN Remmers (my grandmother) - married George Struss REMMERS.
Raised her family in Closter, New Jersey. Children were:
