G'Day, Gail!

We had a Hickey family here in Hamilton, New York (southeastern Madison
County -- in the center of the state) back in the late 1930s and up to the
1950s. He ran a bar or tavern, very popular with both the locals and the
students at Colgate University. Definitely Irish folks, they celebrated St.
Patrick's Day every year with gusto as I recall.

I don't think that any of the family remain in the area.

Don't know if this is any help, but who knows?
