Gordon,

I share your frustration at Robert's "Royal Descents of 500 Immigrants" being out of print.

However, there is a book in print that you might find useful:

"Colonial Americans of Royal and Noble Descent: Alleged, Proven and Disproven" by Patricia Ann Scherzinger (1996. Heritage Books, Bowie, MD, 614 pp.)

I have no idea how accurate it is, though its title certainly purports it to be. I didn't find some ancestors that I expected to be included... then again, maybe I'm glad they weren't (as disproven).
