Subject: NECHASEK and SOLTESE surnames

Upon receiving a copy of the newspaper obituary for my
great/grandmother Matilda SILHAVY I learned she left "a sister Mrs.
NECHASEK" This could be my elusive Veronica. I did a SSDI search today
and found a Joseph NECHASEK in Bridgeport who I think may be her
husband or in law. I will be sending for a death cert right away but
in the meantime does the surname NECHASEK ring a bell with anyone?
Anyone researching this name? (I grew up knowing the Nechasek family
and knew we were related somehow- didn't know it was like this! Just
proves you should never throw away your mother's old address books so
you can match zip codes for genealogical reasearch!)

Also, do I remeber correctly that someone is researching a surname
SOLTIS? Could this be a version of SOLTESE - which was listed as the
maiden name of the cousin I got the death cert of earlier this week?
They seem awfully close to me, and wouldn't they be soundexed the
same?
