That's a good start for your Pliml line, anyway-- there isn't any Oseker or
anything similar in the Czech Republic, but there are a number of towns
named Osek and one of them is very near Rokycany, which is what 'u Rokycan'
means, so that's probably the town you want. Those records are most likely
in the Plzen Regional Archives, although it's possible that they're recent
enough that they're still in the local municipal offices. If your Anna Pliml
married in the Czech Republic (then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire)
then the place of birth of her husband and her husband's parents names (and
possibly grandparents as well) will be on the marriage certificate. The
practice was usually for the couple to marry in the bride's village, unless
she was marrying a widower, in which case they married in his village. In
any case her birth certificate (baptismal certificate, actually) should have
her parent's and grandparent's names, and most important, their residences,
so it should be possible to work back from there quite easily. One other
thing-- it helps to know the religion, too-- most people were Catholic--
Protestants had a separate register, as did Jews. The main thing is the
town, though-- once you have that you're usually okay!
