I am primarily working on my Slovak ancestry this year but your message
jumped out at me because you have Phillips and Williams in the same family.

I have very sketchy info about a Phillips/Williams line. My childrens'
great grandmother was Blanche Phillips born in Lincoln, Nebraska - spent
most of her life in Western Canada. Her father was a Phillips from
Cardiff, Wales, her mother was a Williams, also from Cardiff, Wales. But
they married in Lincoln, Nebraska. That would have been a few
generations back -

I understand that Cardiff, Wales was full of the Phillips surname.

By the way, my Slovak line is from Nizna, Orava Region - Hugo/Hujo, Tomanocy,
Cerven, Melko, Hucala, Vrana - and I have knowledge/sources of a few
areas in Canada where there was strong Slovak immigration and settlement.
Also interested in Szeremata from Galicia/Halyshyna.
