Hi James
When We visited as many cousins as we could in Engand We said to them all
We would like is to tap your memory & copy any photos you have please
this We did with A vido camera & didgital camera ( cheapest) and had my
beloved Laptop
We decided that I would put all the Family History & photos We gathered
on paper ,flopy disk ,CD ,WWW ,
sent to all family members
any place that will take it
All the books & CD's I have I give any info to anyone that wants it some is
on Genuki yorkshire
and on lots of web sites
and if I ever get the hang of it it all would be on my web site and free for
all .

Re permanence of genealogy records, even CD's have limited life but no one
can quite tell you what it is other than quality CDs will last longer.
